Are You Willing to Start?
Updated: Aug 23, 2019
If you are looking for more love in your life, or more meaning in your life, or more health in your life, or more financial stability in your life, or more magic in your life…or, or, or – are you willing to start? As Lao Tzu’s quote states, the journey begins with one step.
So, if you are ready, willing, and able to take a step forward in LIVING LIFE rather than life living you, it’s time to take that step. Let go of the reasons and excuses from your past on why you didn’t start, or that you feel you failed in the attempt. Let go of needing things to be perfect to move forward and be okay with the messiness on your journey. Let go of anything that has held you back from LIVING LOVE in the past whether it is friends, a job, or any experience that doesn’t see your true light. Send them love and step forward into your today, into your now, and into your future. Step forward with LOVE as your guide in every aspect of your life. As you begin to step forward in love, you will find your journey to be gentler, even the roadblocks will feel less intimidating.
Moving forward, I invite you to start stepping deeper into LOVE by:
Choosing to face the day with LOVE as your guide. Even if others are choosing to focus on fearful thoughts, words, and actions, you get to choose your focus. You can react to their fear with fear, or you can stand firm with LOVE. Ask yourself, ‘what would love say, or do?’
If you are seeking a romantic partner in your life, step into the qualities you seek in that partner and be them, whatever they may be. Ask the Big U (God, Source, etc.) for it to show up in the relationship you seek and take steps toward your love.
If you are seeking deeper meaning in the work you do, step deep into appreciation of how meaningful YOU are in your life and focus on appreciating even the smallest aspect of the work you currently do. Ask the Big U for assistance and guidance on meaningful work to show up in your life in magical ways and take steps toward what you find meaningful.
If you are seeking better health in your life, step into appreciating your current health and find ways to honor what your body DOES do for you while nurturing and growing what you appreciate. Ask the Big U for assistance and guidance as you take steps toward ultimate health.
If you are seeking financial stability, step into appreciating what abundance you do have in your life and treat the money you do have as your friend and not your foe. Ask the Big U for assistance and guidance as you step forward with appreciation of abundance rather than lack.
Mostly, my wish if for you to step forward into living a life full of grace and gratitude and the knowing of where you place your focus grows. So, focus on what you want in your life. Focus on seeing the beauty in each day and that at the end of each day’s journey, you go to bed with a smile on your face and love in your heart.
Until next time, let’s take a walk together.
I start and end my day with loving thoughts, words, and actions.

Start living now. Stop saving the good china for that special occasion. Stop withholding your love until that special person materializes. Every day you are alive is a special occasion. Every minute, every breath, is a gift from God. ~ Mary Manin Morrissey
